Blog Reach

Guys, its been quite some time since being active on the blog. Hey, its just ONE post so far this year. And this is the second. After bringing in some articles last year, I almost went into hibernation with no new updates or new stuff. Hopefully I should make up for the lost time by bringing back some new articles during the remainder of the year.

Although the blog's been inactive for a while, it seems there is a consistent flow of traffic though. Number crunching time guys! I just saw the top 5 countries from where audiences visit the site.

1. US
2. Ukraine
3. Russia
4. France
5. India

Ukraine is the surprise addition to the top 5 list. Am actually quite surprised. Also lately there's a lot of traffic coming in from Russia as well. Good to see that the blog is being read so far and wide. Interesting! A lot of traffic also comes in from the UK, Canada, Germany, Poland, Australia.

At times I do wonder what about the Chinese? Why is there no traffic from China? Is it because of their great firewall? Are they totally cut-off from the rest of the world? What websites do they usually visit? Why don't they open up? Lots of questions in the head you see. Okay, I think I better stop this post right here. Lets keep this limited to just the blog reach. Blog Reflections

Wow. It's been a couple of months of active regular blogging. I never really thought I could write so much. But hey, here I am... IronCladZone is now almost 111 posts old and going strong :)

If you might have noticed, much of my content currently focusses on coding, programming & technology. I also do mix in some light hearted posts featuring music, movies, food, entertainment etc. I think such an approach gives a nice relaxed comfortable feel to the visitors visiting my blog. I mean imagine if you landed on my blog through some technical topic, you can also have some quick fun by reading posts on HBO or entertainment or some Hollywood movie or travel or photography. As I said previously, I plan to diversify the topics of interest so that, "there's something for everyone".

Though so far, technology appears to be the center point of this blog, I constantly think about diversifying it and widening it's scale. Folks, do drop in your thoughts, suggestions and views on how to enhance the quantity & quality of the blog so that it reaches a much bigger audience.

Awwrightie... So after a month of regular active blogging am down to crunching the numbers. Looking at the number of hits, I'll quickly list down the top 5 countries, from where most of my traffic comes in.

Quite understandably, since much of the content caters currently to American and Indian audience. Hopefully in the near future, I would like to mix and match content which satisfies a much broader and diverse audience. Cheers, Prost, Chukbae, Salud, Skol, Nazdroviya, Kampai...

Blog Renaming

Hello folks this is Ironclad Writer and if you're reading this post, you're not alone :) { a funny take on  Terminator Salvation... just kiddin }

Ok so as I said previously in my post on Blog rebranding, I am considering renaming my blog in the next couple of days.

I would like the name to be more catchy, something unique. Something which attracts more eyeballs and drives users to explore the whole blog, looking for interesting material. I basically intend to write posts on a range of multi variety topics. I want the users to be satisfied while browsing, to enjoy reading the posts which piques their interest and curiosity. Hence am looking for a unique blog name which matches the wavelength.

There are a few blog names in my mind currently and which are still available. I would appreciate if users reading this could suggest me a few good names. If you think of some good name, do leave your comments and suggestions.

Blog rebranding

These few days I am contemplating a fresh rebranding of my blog. Does the name 'garlic paste' sound good enough and different?

Just recently I updated the blog header with a fresh new image, replacing the default boring black text.

What can be a good name to a blog which can attract more eyeballs while maintaining good quality content? Any thoughts? Ideas?

In the near future, I do wish to create more content based on a variety of topics, thus gradually establishing a web presence. Currently, as of today if you observe, most of the topics are based on Technology and Travel. Gradually I would like incorporate content based on current news, fashion, sports, photography etc.

Your ideas and suggestions are welcome. Lets start with a good sounding unique blog name. Does an egyptian mythology name sound okay for a blog? Or something geeky perhaps?
